First Day Photos

The first day of school photo is a tradition for many families. Gordon parents shared hundreds of photos from the first day of the year. They texted them to the school and posted them to social media with the hashtag #gordonfirstday. Privacy settings and the quirks of social media platforms mean that everybody sees a different set of photos when they click through on Instagram or Facebook. But in all of the photos, the Gordon parents’ pride, and the students’ eagerness, lit up every corner of the internet.
