The Gordon School

Dear Friends,

In October, I shared the news that Frances Martindale, longtime Gordon librarian and beloved Director of the Joukowsky Family Library, would be retiring from Gordon at the end of this year.

That announcement included an invitation to get involved in tributes to Frances, and I am glad to report that work is well underway.

There will be more to report in the weeks ahead, but for today, here’s what I need you to do:

Please save the date
We will be gathering on the evening of Friday, May 29th on Gordon’s campus to honor Frances

Please share an affirmation, a memory, or a wish for Frances
The form below is all set to receive your reflections, whether or not you are able to attend on May 29th. Be as brief or verbose as you wish, and return to add more as many times as you wish!

I want to thank those of you who have already stepped forward to help plan an amazing tribute to Frances. If you want to get in on this process, please reach out to Alexandra O'Connor, who is coordinating the range of efforts that are already underway. She is at aoconnor@gordonschool.org.

Thank you for helping celebrate Frances's extraordinary impact on our school,

Meredith
