Since then, she has taught at Harbor Day School in Corona del Mar, California, worked in both undergraduate and medical school admissions at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and returned to Rhode Island where she spent seventeen years at Lincoln School contributing both as a teacher and an administrator. She earned her BA in English from Harvard College and her MA in English and Comparative Literature from University of California, Irvine. Her son Ethan graduated from Gordon School in 2014.
