Katie enjoys the family feel of Gordon, where everyone knows everyone else and teachers, parents, faculty, staff and students all support one another.
Katie received her B.S. from the University of Rhode Island and her master’s degree in the Teacher Residency Program at Gordon through Roger Williams University. She then taught sixth grade science at Blackstone Valley Prep, a local charter school, before coming to teach at Gordon, teaching in the sixth grade for several years before joining the Lower School team.
When not at work, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters, reading, gardening, doing yoga and simply being in nature.
