While Amy Lupica began teaching at Gordon School in 2013, she has been a part of this wonderful community since 2000 as the parent of two Gordon graduates, Janie ‘07 and Will ‘10. Before Gordon she taught for twenty-two years at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf, working in a variety of capacities with children from birth to six years old and their families. She graduated from Middlebury College and has a masters degree in Deaf Education from Smith College.

Amy can communicate in Spanish and American Sign Language and loves to share these languages with her students. She is passionate about teaching a multicultural curriculum. Amy loves to read, travel, and spend time with family and friends. Experiencing the world through the excitement, curiosity and insightful observations of first grade eyes gives her great joy!
