Julie has been working in Early Childhood education for over twenty years.
She has been teaching in Gordon's Kindergarten program since 2004. Julie has been deeply involved in school programming that supports student and adult racial identity development. She also consults, and facilitates workshops about the intersections of identity and its impact on students and families.
Julie is currently enrolled at Rhode Island College working on her MFA.
During her free time, Julie loves to weave, garden and volunteer in a wide variety of settings.
