Tuesday Common Ground registration

The Tuesday Common Ground team is Cendhi Arias (second grade and program coordinator),  Amber Bennett (fourth grade), and Aleida Benitez (Early Childhood and Lower School Spanish). Together they will plan and facilitate weekly meetings. 

This fall, Common Ground will be held in person. Initially, we had announced that this fall's program would be over Zoom, and we are delighted that the team has found ways to bring students together face-to-face. 

The fall session of Common Ground will run from September 21st to November 9th, Tuesdays from dismissal to 4:30 pm. Currently, we expect to be able to offer it weekly for all students. If we see a dramatic increase in the registrations before the fall session begins, we may need to alternate weeks. We will be able to make a final call on that before the weekend.

The groups will meet in outdoor campus spaces. Faculty and students will be masked and will continue to adhere to the same health and safety protocols they follow during the school day. Pick-up will be on the Bunny Field, next to the Middle School parking lot.

Participation in Common Ground is free and open to all Lower School students of color. This is a voluntary program and it is up to individual families to decide whether or not they want their child or children to attend.  We look forward to another dynamic and spirited year of Common Ground and do hope you choose to have your child attend.
