Courageous learners, compassionate leaders downtown
Saturday, September 28th, 6-9pm

Gordon kicks off the new school year with a celebration at WaterFire.

Gordon will have a tent on Steeple Street between Canal and North Main.

Families, faculty, alumni and the extended Gordon community can meet up and celebrate Gordon’s vision for a more just and sustainable world.

Gordon is proud to be alongside Brown, CERN, Microsoft, Fermilab, the National Science Foundation and the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics at this major WaterFire lighting dedicated to excellence in education.

This WaterFire lighting includes the Big Bang Science Fair, a wide variety of presentations and hands-on activities celebrating the intersection of science, mathematics and the arts.

This is going to be a big evening! The Big Bang Science Fair is free and open to the public, beginning at four pm. Gordon's event is open to Gordon families, alumni, faculty and staff, and the larger Gordon community, starting at 6pm.

Stop by and enjoy a light bite, toast the new school year with friends, and hear Dr. Noni Thomas López share remarks at 6:45 and 8:00.
