Technology and child development
Tuesday, January 28th at 6:00
Gordon’s Health and Wellness Director and Technology Director team up on lessons throughout the school year.
Tonight, Carly Allard and Marlon Henry turn their attention to the issues parents are facing, for a lively conversation on technology’s impact on child development and on families.
They'll share resources and strategies families can use to develop technology practices that reflect their own unique values. Their presentation will be informed by data gathered from a Middle School survey conducted earlier this month.
This parent dialogue is the third in a series that are happening throughout the year. The first was on gender identity development, with Dr. Jennifer Bryan, and the next focused on how race is discussed in Gordon's classrooms.
Your RSVP below will help make this an amazing evening.
Childcare will be provided by Gators staff for Gordon-age children beginning at 6pm. Note that afternoon Gators ends at 5:30pm and there is a half-hour gap that parents need to cover. Pizza will be provided. Remember that the Gator Room is a nut-free facility and please do not send any extra food or snacks with them.
