GCA photo day

Every fall, Coffee Pond Photography photographs everyone at Gordon.

The school gets definitive portraits of each class.

Parents get a chance to order prints.

Coffee Pond drums up some business and donates part of the profits back to the school.

It's a quick morning. Classes steal a few minutes from snack times and recess to step outside and pose. Parent volunteers keep the process moving, and the entire event (which could so easily seem like a chore) takes on the air of a special occasion.

Families can order prints online at www.gordonschool.org/coffeepond. Details will be sent home with students.

There will be no receipts to print out or forms to send in. The GCA gets a proceed of the sales, but only for those placed before Photo Day.

Families get their prints later in the fall, and there is a retake day to get another shot at no additional charge (though you need to return your first set of prints). Even with retakes, families get their final prints in time for them for the December giftgiving season.
