Health services
Gordon has a full-time school nurse with an office nestled in the center of the school.
If your child is staying home sick, please email nurse@gordonschool.org and let the team know what symptoms they're experiencing. If they're diagnosed with something contagious — RSV, COVID-19, strep, flu, or similar — please reach out as soon as possible. The same goes for any positive COVID-19 test in your child's household.
The health office also tracks illness trends across classrooms and grades. When parents share good information with the health office, early, the health office can spot patterns, communicate proactively with families, and help keep our whole community healthy.
Please explore the health policies and resources below, and do not hesitate to reach out to nurse@gordonschool.org with any questions.
Health portal: immunizations and required forms
Gordon partners with August Schools to manage student health records. Each year before school begins, families must submit an updated physical exam and current immunization records. You can download a form from the portal or have your doctor use their own; either way, it must include immunization history, allergies, chronic conditions, and clearance for PE and athletics.
All health requirements are due by the first day of school.
Access the health portal through GatorConnect — no separate login required. If you have trouble reaching your child's records, contact nurse@gordonschool.org or Cheryl Fanti at cfanti@gordonschool.org
