Parents of Students with Learning Differences
This group is for parents of students with learning differences who want to connect with one another. Come talk about the ways your children learn, compare notes, and talk about strategies for supporting our learners at Gordon. The group is led by Judith Gnys, who has been Gordon’s consulting psychologist for over fifteen years.
April 20th meeting
The special guest for this meeting will be Dr. Julie Wilson.
Dr. Julie Wilson is a pediatric nurse practitioner with forty-two years experience and a clinical psychologist with twenty-six years experience. She specializes in treating children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, ADHD, tic disorders, autism, learning disabilities, dyslexia, and psychiatric co-morbidities including anxiety and depression. Julia is on the faculty in the Brown Medical School Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior. Her research is focused on ADHD and Dyslexia.
She is also the parent of two Gordon graduates.
