The back-to-school mailing went in the mail, and online, on August 15th.

Grade meetups
GCA grade representatives have organized August grade meetups at playgrounds and public spaces throughout the state. Watch your email inboxes or check the calendar at www.gordonschool.org/calendar

Connecting with teachers
Families can expect to hear from teachers before the first day of classes, via mail, email or a phone call. September 5th’s Open Campus is everyone’s chance for a face-to-face connection.

Getting started at Gordon Zoom
Talk through the contents of the August mailing, review back-to-school basics and learn more about volunteer opportunities. Especially for new parents and caregivers but open to all, Monday August 21st at 6:30pm; register at www.gordonschool.org/gettingstartedzoom

Middle School soccer clinic
Mr. Ray is hosting a just-for-fun evening soccer clinic for students who will be in fifth to eighth grade, 5:15-6:30pm, Monday the 21st to Thursday the 24th. Learn more and sign up at www.gordonschool.org/soccerclinic

After school deadline
August 30th is the deadline to sign up for full-year Gators and YAP packages, fall enrichments and other fall after school programs. Get going at www.gordonschool.org/afterschool

Class of 2024 picnic
The eighth grade and their parents, caregivers and siblings are invited to two simultaneous-but-separate gatherings on the night before classes begin, Tuesday September 5th from 5:30 to 7pm. RSVP at www.gordonschool.org/classof2024
