The Middle School competitive robotics team is open to any student who is interested in working with the team to build a single robot that will compete at a qualifying tournament in November and, if that goes well, the Rhode Island state competition in January.

The team will collaboratively design, engineer and program a robot to navigate a number of comprehensive challenges. They will also be required to work on both a research paper and project that will be presented to their peers at Gordon as well as the competition judges.

The team will meets once a week on Fridays from 2:15-4:15 from September 7th through January. Competitors should save the dates for an all-day qualifying tournament on Saturday, December 8th, as well as a state tournament to be held on Saturday, January 19th. The cost will be $200.
