Dear Families,

I am thrilled you are considering Gordon School for your family! It is a community in which I followed my son; and one in which has embraced our family–the silly, the tired, the optimist in us all.

My ‘why Gordon’ will always be looked at first and foremost through my parent lens. It is my own family’s personal sense of belonging, knowing that we all benefit from this community–through educational experiences, Gordon’s multicultural curriculum, the sharing of traditions, faiths, cultures, and embracing it all; all while having tough conversations. And providing my shy, overly observant, and always listening child a true sense of self and consent.

As one community member shared upon applying to Gordon, "And we know that if we are only so lucky to be part of the community, not only will Gordon embrace our family, but we, too, will embrace all that is Gordon."

And this affirmation could not be more true or unerring. As a parent, and as an administrator, I am forever grateful to this community: the mission; the environment; the faculty; the colleagues; the friends; this school.

September 15: 2024-2025 admission application becomes available and FIT portal opens

October 2: Parent/guardian interviews begin

October 9: Student visits begin

January 18: Lower School Information Session

January 18: An Evening with Rainbow Families 

January 18: FIT Information Session

February 1: Admission application and materials due

February 23: Admission decisions released

March 8: Enrollment contracts due
