Evan Spirito '02 Scholarship
The Evan Spirito Scholarship was established in 2012 by the Spirito family to celebrate and honor Evan Spirito ’02 who entered Gordon in the Middle School and quickly became an essential member of the Gordon community.
His quick wit, kindness, and athletic talents were admired by his friends and teachers. He possessed the natural ability to embrace and draw out the best qualities in those around him, which made him a sought-after friend and teammate.
The fund supports students who enter Gordon in sixth, seventh or eighth grade, with preference given to a boy who demonstrates the wonderful qualities that Evan brought to Gordon.
To apply for the scholarship, students must submit an essay as part of the process. Recipients receive scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, contingent on the availability of funds. Scholarship recipients in good standing receive the scholarship annually without needing to reapply.
