Online news and archives

Online news

Gordon is continually sharing news about alumni and their families, through social media and the Gordon stories blog.

There are two ways alumni and their families can keep up with Gordon stories as they appear:

Thursday emails
Use the "Join a mailing list!" link at the bottom of this page to sign up for the Friends of Gordon email. Each Thursday during the school year, that list gets a email with news and links that connect readers to the Gordon community and to life on campus.

Social media
Follow Gordon on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn and you'll get a steady stream of Gordon stories throughout the school year.

The archives

Gordon's online archives go back almost twenty years! There's a tremendous amount of information, and it's not always polished or easy to search, but alumni who graduated during the digital age will find many rabbit holes to explore.

The blog archives

Since 2003, Gordon has been sharing snapshots of life on campus on the blog. These posts are all online and are searchable by text. Work has begun tagging the posts by subject and fixing outdated links, and some special topics like the Civil Rights Trip have pages that make it easy navigate the past. Start exploring at www.gordonschool.org/news - the search box is at the bottom of the page.

YouTube

Gordon's YouTube page - username Helen Cooke - has been the school's primary archive for video since 2008. Nearly every video that has appeared on social media or embedded on the school's site is also on the YouTube page. Start your adventure at www.youtube.com/user/gordonnews/videos

The Flickr site

Gordon staff and faculty have used Flickr as a way to share photos internally, and with parents and alumni, since 2007. The contents are sometimes unfiltered, and the albums might seem a little random, but there are thousands of moments there to be explored.
