Caroline has been working at Gordon School since 2012. In that time, she has advised seventh and eighth graders, taught math, humanities and academic support to fourth through eighth graders, and coached lacrosse and tennis in the Middle School.
Caroline's career has come full circle as her first classroom job was as a long-term substitute in the fifth grade at Gordon twenty-nine years ago. Since then, she has taught at Harbor Day School in Corona del Mar, California, worked in both undergraduate and medical school admissions at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and returned to Rhode Island where she spent seventeen years at Lincoln School contributing both as a teacher and an administrator. She earned her BA in English from Harvard College and her MA in English and Comparative Literature from University of California, Irvine. Her son Ethan graduated from Gordon School in 2014.
