Photos, audio from Civil Rights Trip
A second grade teacher and trip chaperone at the Varsity in Atlanta, GA

Traditionally, the chaperones on the eighth grade trip to Georgia and Alabama include a few teachers who do not work with the eighth grade on a daily basis.

This year, a second grade teacher has accompanied the group.

As she prepared for the trip, she shared what she was learning with her second graders, and now she is using the internet to communicate with her class while she is on the trip.

This morning, the second graders enjoyed a slideshow synopsis of the first day. Their teacher used a VoiceThread, which also allowed her class to post their audio response at the end of the presentation.

Also, photos have begun appearing on Gordon's Flickr site. Thanks for the uploads, chaperones!
