Voices of the Class of 2020

 

 

Gordon's eighth graders are the leaders of the school.

 

The class of 2020 took on the responsibility starting on day one. link

 

They've been the first to meet with important guests. link

 

They've taken their ideas to the school administration, and to visiting journalists. link

 

They've modeled healthy risk taking for younger students, on the playing field and on stage.

 

They went places in Georgia and Alabama where no Gordon eighth graders had ever been before. link

 

They were the first students to really think through the impact of this quarantine, meeting on day one of the Online Learning Community. link

 

And this month, they are the ones sharing daily affirmations with their classmates, setting the tone for a strong finish for the year. When they began, there were thirty-two school days left... and thirty-two eighth graders. They're being shared on Gordon's social media, and they're collected in a YouTube playlist.
