University of Rhode Island competition finalists

 

Congratulations to the three Gordon eighth graders who were chosen as finalists in the University of Rhode Island's Gandhi Essay Contest. URI's Center for Nonviolence and Peace Studies received 131 submissions from 27 independent, public and parochial schools from across the state. Gordon was one of three schools to have three students selected as finalists.

The finalists will all attend a ceremony at URI on Friday, May 3rd, where the final awards will be presented.
