The sights and sounds of seventh grade filmmaking

The seventh grade filmmaking class finished up in December.

For eight weeks, students worked with film professional Rebecca Hofherr.

The class went far beyond the basics of scriptwriting and acting, exploring costume design and set design, music cues and fight choreography, special effects, lighting, and editing.

The finished product?

Not everything turned out exactly as planned.

But in the end, there was a half hour of energetic short films and a few dozen inspired young filmmakers.

Fifth grade begins their filmmaking class Friday, January 8th.
