The Gordon School

Starting 2019 off right

above: a Kindergartener in a handmade paper snowflake, awaiting the first snowstorm of the year. The unpredictable January weather prevents us from planning any outdoor activities over the 10th, 11th and 12th, but newcomers to Gordon can see how the twelve-acre campus is used on a daily basis at www.gordonschool.org/outdoors

On January 10th, 11th and 12th, Gordon hosts three very different events that each celebrate how Gordon educates minds, hearts and bodies with equal care...

...through direct instruction in health and wellness:
Catherine Steiner-Adair
The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age
Thursday, January 10th, 6pm

...through joyful engagement in the arts:
Providence Children's Film Festival
An all-ages preview
Friday, January 11th, 4:30pm

...and through play-based exploration:
Come Play!
for ages two to five accompanied by an adult
Saturday, January 12th, 9am

All three events are free and open to the public. Come Play! is especially designed for families who are considering Gordon, and an RSVP is required. Gordon parents are encouraged to invite a family who might love Gordon.

More information, links to RSVP, and social media links (for inviting friends) are at www.gordonschool.org/families
