Small moments

Thank you to the parents and caregivers who came out to authors’ celebrations on Friday.
 

First graders had written, illustrated and bound small moment memoirs.

 

Titles included The Dishwasher, Rowan on the Plane and The Kanin Ball.
 

Second grade had small moment stories as well, but also other works that went beyond non-fiction into creative writing.
 

All the work had been carefully reviewed, curated, edited and polished.
 

But no lesson is really complete until a student can share it with someone else.
