Gordon's Director of Fine and Performing Arts Milly Massey is reaching her biggest audience ever this summer. She's music director for the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company's production of Shakespeare's Cymbeline, presented for free on the Boston Common, from July 18th through August 4th. The production, which includes five original songs written by Massey, is expected to reach fifty thousand people.

The production is directed by Fred Sullivan, Jr, known to many through his long history at Trinity Rep, Rhode Island's most visible theater organization. It's just one of many connections between Gordon and Trinity Rep; In June, Trinity resident artists worked with Gordon students to stage Hamlet as part of Gordon Summer Theater, and in August, Ms. Massey and stage manager Judy Griffin '19 will stage a new play by David Rabinow with the Trinity YASI Players program.
