Portraits of Gordon

Dave Allyn, this year's Britt Nelson Visiting Artist, is demonstrating his techniques by creating a portrait of the Gordon School in ceramics. more

 

Students are responding by making their own drawings of Gordon, with a variety of techniques.

 

It's the perfect lesson for students who are missing their home campus this spring.

 

And in a parallel project, a number of Middle School students have been collaborating on an ambitious recreation of the Gordon School in Minecraft; a few screenshots from a sneak preview are below.
