Max Mann '04 remembered

Early last week, Max Mann '04 passed away while skiing in Japan with his brother, Zack Mann '06.

Max began at Gordon in 1994 as part of Janet Burnham's Kindergarten class. In the years that followed, Max, Zack, and his parents Robbie and Judy became central members of the school community, and are remembered vividly and affectionately by those whose lives they touched.

When he graduated, Max's teachers chose this quote for his diploma:

The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure.
These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.
Vince Lombardi

We hope that Max's family find some comfort in the fact that, here at Gordon, Max's spirit will indeed endure.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, March 1 at Temple Beth-El, 70 Orchard Ave, Providence. All are welcome. Following the service, there will be an opportunity for Judy, Robbie and Zack to visit with friends and family.

Shiva will be held at the house of Traci and Bernie Maceroni, 141 Freeman Parkway, Providence. Hours will be Sunday, March 1 from 7:00 to 9:00pm and Monday, March 2 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm.
