On Friday, November 13th, at 8:45am, author Rodney Eric López and nonprofit leader Fran Loosen will have a lively Zoom conversation about generous living and how parents can cultivate a culture of giving in their families.
The conversation is free and open to the public, with opportunities for questions from the audience. It is part of the ongoing Coffees with Claire series, talks with various members of the Gordon community curated by Claire Phipps, Gordon’s Chief Advancement and Experience Officer. More on that series at www.gordonschool.org/coffees
Fran Loosen is a longtime nonprofit leader who is currently the Engagement and Advancement Strategist at Providence's The Avenue Concept. Her career has taken place at the intersection of philanthropy, entrepreneurship, art and social justice, and she is the proud parent of two Gordon graduates who understand the importance of giving back to their communities.
Rodney Eric López is part of Gordon's admissions team, and is the author of The Generosity Solution. He is a master dance instructor and has taught the art of dance as a tool for team and community building. He began his career in nonprofit and corporate communications, and consults on fundraising and stewardship.
The event is part of a continuing series of public events at Gordon that has included visits from Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum, Reverend Paula Lawrence Wehmiller, and Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair.
