Kindergarteners are back in the library, and they are ready to browse.
That's not a moment too soon for Gordon's librarian, who is passionate about letting students make their own choices about what to read. In Gordon's library, they have thousands of titles to choose from.
At the Town Hall earlier in April, Dr. Thomas López explained that some of the school's shared spaces could be reopened on a limited basis this spring.
Today, it began, with Kindergarten red group welcomed back to the library to select and borrow two books each.
The COVID-safe path from Kindergarten to the library is winding and all outdoors, so green group's trip on Thursday may be rained out, but they will have their chance soon.
Online borrowing is always available for all grades, via www.gordonschool.org/onlineborrowing
