The Gordon School

It takes a village

Each year for the last seven years, every Gordon School seventh grader has written a complete novel.

This year, seventh grade novelists took selfies with their readers, volunteers from the faculty and staff who read the first drafts of their novels and gave them feedback.

Here's a look at those selfies, and at the way that the novel-writing project brings in adults from throughout the school.

On Friday, May 3rd, at 8:30am, in the Commons, seventh graders will be presenting their final, published novels in an informal celebration. All are invited to attend.
