It all comes together

It all starts coming together when the actors get in costume.

Today was the first dress rehearsal for The Mouse That Roared. The deadpan Cold War satire is surprisingly topical today, with references to trade wars and foreign aid slipped among the silliness in the court of Duchess Gloriana of Grand Fenwick.

Meanwhile, backstage, the cast of Is He Dead? was being fitted with their outfits. Written by Mark Twain in 1898, and adapted for the stage by David Ives in 2007, Is He Dead? is a nineteenth century spoof on the artistic life, fame, gender roles, and economic power.
