Gordon is proud to host the first Institute for New Teachers of Color in Independent Schools this August.
The institute brings together educators from day schools and boarding, elementary and K-12, for three days of connection and mentorship. Participants will be reflecting on where they are in their career journeys, learning about independent school culture, honing their craft as educators, and developing personal mission statements to ground them as they navigate the next year. Sessions will be facilitated by Will Gilyard, Betty Noel-Pierre, Noni Thomas López and Susan Yao.
