Happy Grandfriends' Day
Hundreds of old friends and new faces
above: Christine Johnson visiting fifth grade this morning. Today was Mrs. Johnson's twentieth consecutive year serving as a grandfriend at Gordon.
Today, Gordon welcomed over four hundred and fifty friends and family back to campus for Grandfriends' Day.
Thank you to the grandparents, parents, uncles, cousins, sisters, caregivers, aunts, neighbors, friends and extended family who came to campus to make the day so special. It's a fun day that also serves Gordon's larger goals of making sure school connects with students' lives, and encouraging students to bring their full selves—their lives and experiences—into the classroom.
