Happy Grandfriends' Day

Hundreds join students on campus

Thank you to the hundreds of uncles, cousins, grandfathers, friends, sisters, great-grandmothers, stepsisters, mothers, neighbors and other grandfriends who joined students in their classes for Friday’s Grandfriends’ Day.

It was the first Grandfriends' Day since 2019, and over four hundred and fifty guests came to campus to make it special.

At Gordon's annual Grandfriends' Day, students share their classroom worlds with extended family members.

Gordon was founded by a mother for her son, and these intergenerational connections remain close to the heart of the school.

Grandfriends' Day guests get a peek into the daily life of the Gordon student in their life. The students get a chance to practice gracious hosting and to show off their learning with pride. Everybody wins.

Dozens of photos are now online.
