Gordon reads, alongside all of Rhode Island
RI Kids Count and the RI Department of Education are inviting people across the state to post their favorite books to social media this week, with the hashtag #rireads.
It's also the week of Gordon's Book Fair, and the Gordon community responded to the invitation eagerly.
The result was a welcome reminder of what social media is meant to do: help people connect with one another and, at its best, help a young writer touch somebody who they might otherwise never meet.
