Fourth grade discovers the moon
A month of observations culminates in an on-campus after-hours lunar party
Through their daily study of the moon this fall, fourth graders did the work of scientists.
They dedicated themselves to making careful, repeated observations.
They noticed patterns in their data and built theories.
Along the way, they experienced the simple joy of observing nature as part of their daily routines.
