Fifth grade debuts their accessibility redesign projects

Fifth grade has been studying disability and accessibility all year.

For their final projects, they have each chosen a public space that means something to them.

They visited the spaces, and created formal proposals on how each space could be made more accessible.

This week, they’ve been building models of their redesigned spaces.

Tomorrow, Friday the 7th, they will present their models, and their design proposals.

Prepare to be blown away, on the path by Engle Field, 8:15 to 9am tomorrow.
