Dave Smith remembered

We note with sadness that alumni grandparent and loyal Gordon volunteer Dave Smith passed away on New Year’s Eve.

Dave was an attorney, a runner, a reader, and the dedicated grandfather of Maude Smith-Montross ’20 and Calder Smith-Montross ’22. 

Calder and Maude both remember the joy Dave found in chaperoning Gordon field trips, and his obituary names Gordon as one of his favorite places.

His memorial has been rescheduled and relocated due to the anticipated snow. 

It's now Saturday, January 24th, 2:30-4:30 p.m., at the Audubon Society of Rhode Island Nature Center in Bristol, RI, 1401 Hope Street.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Gordon and to the Hamilton House.
