The Gordon School

Connecting beyond Gordon

From the chicks Kindergarten hatch for Casey Farm, to the eighth grade service learning project, Gordon is continually making authentic connections with the world beyond Maxfield Avenue.

It's not just in the classroom, either. As an institution, Gordon is always seeking to find ways to celebrate and support innovative, high quality education.

Three examples from next week:

Two Gordon teachers are leading this workshop, the first in a fall seminar series presented by EduLeaders of Color, RI. EduLeaders of Color is an initiative founded by Karla Vigil, a seventh grade Gordon parent and a graduate of the Teacher Residency Program at Gordon School.
