Entire community mobilizes for a day of giving
Gordon was overjoyed to once again be a part of 401Gives, an event that supports hundreds of nonprofits across Rhode Island.
As we raised $37,586.47, we shared videos of fun challenges, grounded in our mission, performed by students, faculty and staff, including…
In this fifth and final video, Gordon’s first graders headed to the library to perform a synchronized dance that concludes with a celebration of the number thirty-five.
In this fourth video, we had Preschool, Young Kindergarten and Kindergarten striking twenty-eight poses while using twenty-eight words to describe Gordon.
In our third video, we had fifth grade scientists digging into the compost pile to reclaim twenty-one seeds from the pumpkins that were left there last November.
In our second video, we had second, third and fourth grade tackling an epic version of a favorite PE activity: an obstacle course with fourteen thrilling challenges.
In our first video, at the $7,000 mark, we had Nursery students decorating as many cupcakes for seven minutes, using the teamwork and patience they’ve practiced while cooking this year.
