Agatha Rex

Middle School play is an update of Sophocles' Antigone

Tomorrow night is the debut of Agatha Rex, this year’s Middle School play.

Staged in the round, it’s a high-energy retelling of Sophocles' tragedy Antigone set in a modern-day high school, complete with dress code violations, Greek choruses, and a hero who has to make sacrifices in order to stand up for what she believes.

Performances are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 6:30pm. All are welcome, but the material may be best suited for fourth grade and up.
