A meal of gratitude
Young Kindergarten party was months in the making
Congratulations to Young Kindergarten.
They threw a memorable party today.
Their guests were adults they were grateful for.
The students prepared most of the food themselves.
The potato salad and the pesto squash had veggies they’d grown and harvested.
It was good enough for seconds.
The prep had stretched their literacy and math knowledge.
Today’s meal pushed their social graces and their hosting skills
And the whole event helped build relationships that will continue to grow throughout their time at Gordon.
