A math test, just for the fun of it

Fifteen fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth graders arrived at 7:30am this morning to take the Math Olympiads'  first test of the year.

Just for the fun of it.

They're all members of Gordon's year-round free-of-charge math club, which meets every week before and after school for extracurricular math challenges. The club is just one facet of a longterm investment in math instruction that has increased performance schoolwide and produced a MathCounts team that has won first place in Rhode Island's team and individual rankings three times in the past four years.
