The impact of Gordon athletics
An eighth grade opened up yesterday’s athletics assembly with this reflection on the impact of Gordon’s athletics program.
Last week, another eighth grader spoke to dozens of young families at the admissions open house.
The week before that, two other eighth graders were quoted in the New York Times.
Throughout the eighth grade year, teachers make sure that every one of Gordon’s oldest students has a chance to practice public speaking. It’s one of many informal-but-intentional final exams at a school with a mission of graduating confident leaders.
