Lacrosse, theater victories for graduates at three local high schools
It was a big night for Moses Brown School last night, thanks to Gordon alumni.
On one side of the campus, Peter Buonanno '19, Jude MacLean '17, Christian Chase '18, Xander Ritson-Parsons '17, Jake Murray '19, Finn Sargeant '18, Trevor Rose '20 and Tyler Rose '18 were helping lead Moses Brown's boys lacrosse team to a stunning victory over La Salle last night. It was Moses Brown's first home game with spectators this season, and hundreds turned out to see them beat La Salle - the state champs who hadn't lost a Division 1 game since 2017. Projo coverage
On the other side of the campus, Kavi Mongia-Gasper '18, Dylan Bean '18, Ursula Talbot '18, Charlie Callahan '17, Levi Gewirz '19, Emma Platt '18, Vivian Miller '18, Gianna Paratore '17, David Giardino '17, Abby Lee '19, Aaron Sucov '18 and Nick Boulay '19 were staging Moses Brown's spring musical, Mamma Mia, in a daring and inspiring outdoor production. In the photo, they're joined by Gordon's Milly Massey and Susan Hodgin, as well as Arlo Robbins '18 and Nova Crane '18.
In other news... yes, that was Ella Bogdahn '17 on the cover of the East Providence Post last week, helping lead East Providence High School in *their* production of Mamma Mia.
Wheeler School also has an outdoor production this weekend that's full of Gordon alumni - Into the Woods, appropriately enough, on their campus in Seekonk. Audrey Lee '19, Pepper Travers '20 and Ella Kulper '19 are in this photo; they were joined by Theo Duarte-Baird '18, Brandon Gunasti '17 and Myles Johnson '19.
