The event was acknowledged in age-appropriate ways throughout the school. Fourth graders had a ninety-minute teach-in on youth activism and helping children's voices to be heard. At Kindergarten meeting this morning, five-year-olds talked about rights and responsibilities, and the importance of having safe places to learn.
