Gordon students worked all morning with the press to amplify their participation in the #nationalstudentwalkout more on what happened today

 

Thanks to ABC6, NBC10, Channel 12 and WPRO radio for coming to campus today, and for putting the student's voices front and center.

The event was acknowledged in age-appropriate ways throughout the school. Fourth graders had a ninety-minute teach-in on youth activism and helping children's voices to be heard. At Kindergarten meeting this morning, five-year-olds talked about rights and responsibilities, and the importance of having safe places to learn.

 

 

The story led much of the local news at noon today, with live feeds from Gordon.
