Winter break fun at Gordon

Winter break is SNOW much fun at Gordon! Join us for a week of theme days, engaging activities, and lots of time to socialize with friends. While each day will have a different theme and corresponding activities, students will also enjoy time on the playgrounds, in the field house, and immerse themselves in games and projects of all kinds.

Apples and cheese are available for snack, provided by Gordon, or students may pack their own morning and afternoon snacks. All students should pack their own lunches. Nursery and Preschool students should bring mats and materials for afternoon rest.

Middle Schoolers–don’t miss your chance to participate! Opportunities to help with our younger campers will be available throughout each day as well as an exclusive track of activities and projects geared toward our Middle School campers.

Make It and Move It Monday
Makers and Movers, are you ready for winter break camp?!? To kick off the week, campers will work on some amazing arts and crafts projects, try sewing and weaving, conquer an obstacle course, and burn energy through high octane games. With the entire school to ourselves, we’ll set up a unique scavenger hunt for campers to solve together.

Tropical Tuesday
Want a sneak peak of the coming summer? Join us for a day of camp activities–camp classic games, arts and crafts projects, an indoor bounce house experience, and more. Wear your favorite rainbow colors or tropical themed gear. Special guest teachers Mr. and Mrs. D. will share some of their camp-themed activities as well. The temperatures outside may be cold, but we are heating things up as we dream about summer!

Warm and Cozy Wednesday
Everyone needs a relaxing day, especially on winter break. This day is all about being warm and cozy–we’ll read and create stories of our own, design storybooks, make our own pillows and bookmarks, and play lots of board and card games. Wear your pajamas for ultimate relaxation!

Tinker and Thinker Thursday
Hands and minds will be busy on this day, as campers engage in games and building projects. Brain teasers, puzzles, mazes, and more will engage campers and loads of building materials will be available to create wintry villages, scenes, and characters. All things building–sets, kits, and other materials–will be available for campers to imagine and design. We’ll even put our minds and hands to work as we create winter slime.

Frosty Friday
Let it snow! Join us for all kinds of snowy activities, from the Snow Scoop Challenge to creating snow dough, and making other wintry takeaways. We’ll also snuggle up for a showing of PBS Kids episodes for students in the afternoon. Wear your favorite winter hat for our final day of winter break camp.

Winter break camp runs Monday, December 18th to Friday, December 22nd from 8am to 5:30pm.

Sign up is by the day, but why not come play the whole week?

Full day $110
Half day, up to five hours $65

Camp is open to all Gordon students in Nursery through eighth grade. Apples and cheese are available for snack, provided by Gordon, or students may pack their own morning and afternoon snacks. All students should pack their own lunches.

Registration is open until December 8th. A minimum number of students must be enrolled by the deadline for programming to run. In order to plan proper staffing, we ask that families only register for days they can commit to attending. Registration fees are non-refundable. This includes cancellations due to vacation schedules, conflicting activities, or other changed plans. The Gator Days discount for families who purchased full year Gators and YAP packages does not apply to vacation camps.
