Pennies for Penguins

Gordon's librarian, above, recommends this video, this video and this link for families who are getting fired up about penguins!

Gordon is excited to be partnering with area schools and participate in Mystic Aquarium's Pennies for Penguins fundraiser. 

Students will be encouraged to collect change and bring it to school. More on the program here.

Third graders are leading this effort, along with their buddies in Preschool and Young Kindergarten. They announced the drive in the Lower School Town Meeting on Friday, February 15th. It will finish at the end of March.

Collection jars will be in many classrooms, and there will be a central collection tower in the Commons.
