The Gordon School

Parent dialogues

During the 2020-2021 school year, Gordon’s parent dialogue series centered around the topic of what it means to build an antiracist community: as a school, as care-givers, as young people.

Gordon provided parents with information, ideas, inspiration and space to question, learn, connect, and act around topics that matter to all of us. Delving deeper into antiracist practice and pedagogy is not only timely but also a natural evolution of Gordon’s commitment to creating a community where everyone can belong and contribute. The series continued the conversations parents have been having with each other during the Conversations on Race series that has happened over the past several years.
