Reopening the building for vaccinated adults
Getting parents and caregivers into Gordon's buildings, in three steps
1. Parents and caregivers must submit proof of vaccination through the Indoor facilities access registration form located in the parent portal at www.gordonschool.org/parentlogin.
2. Once you submit your vaccine card, your safety app will be updated to include "Community adult COVID-19 screening form". Need to download the app? It's at www.gordonschool.org/app
3. You will fill out the safety app before coming to campus and present your green pass to the person at the front desk.
For vaccinated adults who aren't in the parent portal
Vaccinated adults can also get come on campus if they:
1. Fill out the visitor screening form at www.gordonschool.org/guest on the day of their visit.
2. Bring proof of vaccination with them to school, or submit proof at www.gordonschool.org/vaccineupload.

Gordon’s doors are opening. Now what?
Vaccinated adults are now invited to come inside the school, as well as children, vaccinated or unvaccinated. Children age two and up must be masked.
The outdoor Commons will remain a fresh air space for parents and caregivers to gather. The virtual Commons will remain a bulletin board for the links you need to connect electronically. And now, the actual, original Commons will be back in action!

The Commons
The Gordon store
The library (volunteers only, coordinated by Frances Martindale)
The theater (volunteers or pre-approved audience members only, coordinated by Milly Massey)
Classrooms (on conference day or by invitation based on curriculum needs)
What if I have to go to the bathroom?
Adults may use the all -gender bathroom located next to the library along Main Street or the bathroom located in the office space that was previously used as the Nurse’s Office in the Lower School hallway. Individuals must return to the Commons or to their volunteer area when they finish and may not go anywhere else in the building.
Are there specific hours or rules?
The Commons is available all day.
Nut-free foods and drinks are allowed if three feet of distance can be maintained.
If you are using a table, it must be wiped down after use.
Volunteers are welcome throughout the day, in coordination with the people they are working with.
Gordon store hours are subject to change and will be posted on the store door. Payment will be by PayPal or credit or debit card only so plan ahead!
Where is the store?
The Gordon store entrance is located on the Gator Path next to Andrea Del Sesto’s classroom and across from the stream.
Where should I enter the building?
The front office or the Gordon store.
What do I need to do?
First, submit proof of vaccination through the Indoor facilities access registration form located in the parent portal at www.gordonschool.org/parentlogin. You will be added to the safety app within one week of submission. We cannot promise a speedier turn around, so submit your proof of vaccination as soon as possible!
You will fill out the safety app before coming to campus and present your green pass to the person at the front desk or to the person staffing the store. Instructions on downloading the safety app are at www.gordonschool.org/app
Is this thing working?
When your vaccine card is submitted, and you are ready to go, your safety app should now include a "Community adult COVID-19 screening form" link. If you don't see it, and you have an appointment to go to on campus, please reach out to Marlon Henry at mhenry@gordonschool.org.
What if a parent who has been on campus tests positive?
Any parent who tests positive for COVID-19 must notify Nurse Hoey who will then assist with contact tracing.
This parent will need to remain off campus until it is determined that it is safe for them to return. The app will not allow them clearance until that time.
